Alpha Chi Omega takes pride in playing an active role throughout Homecoming Events each year! We put a special emphasis on the Community Service events within homecoming. We participate in a 5k that raises money for Lutheran Services of Iowa and funds programs to help children transition out of abusive homes. We also participate in an Up 'til dawn email drive, which in the last two years has placed Iowa State's Up 'til dawn program in the top 10 in the nation. Along with those efforts, we collect pop tabs in support of the Ronald MacDonald House Charities, women collect all year to get as many as they can.

In addition to service, we also have some competitive fun. We participate in Yell Like Hell, a choreographed skit with a lot of volume. In Homecoming 2016 we placed 3rd overall in YLH and got painted TWICE - our team were champions in our heart for being painted in 30 degree weather. This past year our team was painted AGAIN, but unfortunately didn't go onto finals. We participate in tournaments such as basketball, volleyball, treds, broomball and trivia. And show our creative side painting banners and creating backdrops for a campus deck or lawn display

Alpha Chi's also love going together to campus wide events, like: Homecoming TournamentsMovie on Central Campus, the homecoming dance, food on campus, the pep rally, ExCYtement in the Streets, Mass Campaniling and Fireworks. It is a busy week but we wouldn't trade the memories made with our sisters for anything!

This year, we are paired with Theta Delta Chi and Alpha Sig!
