Desserts After Dark
Just over a week into Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the month of October holds a lot of meaning to the women of Alpha Chi Omega. With our national philanthropy being Domestic Violence Awareness, we believe that love shouldn't hurt. For Delta Nu, October means philanthropy, it is our time to spread awareness across Iowa State's campus with the support of ACCESS, the ISU Police Department and our Sorority and Fraternity Community. Maddie Timmerman, our Vice President of Philanthropy, has been working diligently with the men of Alpha Tau Omega, who also locally support ACCESS, to create a fun and engaging philanthropy that sheds light about how often domestic violence occurs.
Our fall philanthropy, Desserts After Dark, is set for Tuesday, October 30th from 7:00-10:00pm at 301 Lynn Avenue. All are welcome to come enjoy delicious dessert and conversations to learn more about Domestic Violence Awareness and how to support survivors and various resources the Ames community has available.
